This is our new zone (service) created to help people in the community back into work. Rural isolation and deprived urban areas in East Lancashire have created real barriers to employment resulting in ill health and social exclusion. We want to provide a friendly welcoming facility where people can feel valued and learn new skills required in a modern society and workplace.
- Build confidence & self esteem.
- Develop essential core skills (ICT).
- Provide access to Internet for job searching.
- Provide specialist employability skills (CV, letter writing, interview skills).
- Provide Information, advice & guidance for job seekers.
- Signpost to resources, training and specialist organisation for support.
- Identify and provide volunteering opportunities.
- Working together to identify realistic job goals and produce a pathway to success.
This zone will work with many external organisations to ensure opportunities are identified so that job seekers can find the right direction for them.This programme runs in blocks of 12 session at various times of the year but is subject to funding so please contact us for more details.
